DESCRIPTION:Laboratories and offices on the 8th and 9th floors\, as\nwell a
 s part of the 10th floor\, have been completely renovated\nand people have
  started to move back in.\nNew lab benches and exhaust hoods upgrade the f
 acilities for\nleading-edge research and teaching. Plumbing\, electrical a
 nd\nventilation systems have been completely renewed and configured.\nNew 
 exhaust hoods and 100% fresh air intake improve air quality as\nwell as en
 ergy efficiency in these newly renovated areas.\nNew freezer farms have be
 en finished and are in use.\nWashrooms on floors 8\, 9\, 11 and 12 are bei
 ng completely\nrenovated and will be finished the first week of July.
Wash
 rooms on\nfloors 4 and 6 are being completely renovated and will be ready 
 by\nthe end of July.\nBalancing of the new HVAC systems has started and ma
 y cause some\nventilation noise.
 As renovations near completion\, finishi
 ng\ndetails remain to be done in certain areas. Other spaces are still\nbe
 ing renovated on the 13th floor so some noise can be\nexpected until Septe
 mber\, when the work will be\nfinished.  We apologize for any disruption.
