DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Coun
 cil (SSHRC) Insight Grant Program is to provide stable support ranging fro
 m $7\,000 to $400\,000 for research excellence and long-term research init
 iatives of two to five years\, for both emerging and established scholars 
 in the social sciences and humanities.\n\nResearchers who are planning to 
 apply to the October 2026 SSHRC Insight Grants (IG) competition are encour
