3 Minutes to Impact: Pitch Competition
The Black Students' Association at the School of Population and Global Health (BSA-SPGH) is excited to invite McGill students from all disciplines to participate in the 3 Minutes to Impact: Pitch Competition, a featured Black History Month event on March 16.
This showcase highlights academic excellence, creativity, and community impact. The event promotes knowledge sharing, mentorship, collaboration, and visibility of research rooted in equity, cultural safety, and social impact.
Who can apply?
Undergraduate, Master’s, PhD, and professional students from any discipline whose work engages with themes of equity, community, culture, social impact, or interdisciplinary collaboration.
If you are not eligible to present, you may still participate as a judge or volunteer for the event.
What to expect:
- 3-minute elevator pitch about your research, project, or academic endeavor
- 2-minute Q&A with audience and judges
- Open to English and French presentation
Awards:
Awards will be provided of a monetary value of up to $300!!
