  exponentially while climate change is impacting our ability to grow food.
  McGill’s Department of Food Science and Agricultural Chemistry seeks inno
 vative solutions to these challenges by finding new sources of food protei
 ns\, linking food with human health\, and reducing waste in food productio
 n.  Food science is the multi-disciplinary study of food involving physica
 l and life sciences\, and engineering. McGill’s internationally renowned g
 raduate programs in food science have produced some of Canada’s foremost f
