 estone for the Supreme Court of Canada as it celebrates its 150th annivers
 ary. Over the years\, its chambers have been the setting for landmark case
 s that have shaped the foundation of this country. Some decisions have rei
 nforced fundamental principles of justice\, while others serve as reminder
 s of how far we’ve come. These cases provide an opportunity to reflect on 
 our history and appreciate its ongoing evolution.\n\nAt the heart of these
  rulings are the Judges\, many of whom once walked the same corridors as t
 oday’s law students at McGill University. Their decisions on equality\, re
 ligious accommodation\, Indigenous rights\, gender and sexuality rights\, 
 and property rights have played a great role in shaping Canadian society.
 \n\nTo commemorate this legacy\, the Nahum Gelber Law Library is hosting a
 n exhibition that pays tribute to the Judges who have shaped the Court’s h
 istory\, with a highlight of pivotal cases that illustrate its influence o
 n Canadian law.\n\nWe invite you to explore this curated exhibition on the
  first floor of the Nahum Gelber Law Library. Take this opportunity to ref
 lect on the path of justice and the Court’s lasting impact. For those inte

 iversaire de la Cour suprême du Canada. Au fil des ans\, ses cabinets ont 
 été le théâtre d’affaires marquantes qui ont contribué à jeter les bases d
 e ce pays. Alors que certaines décisions ont servi à renforcer des princip
 es fondamentaux en matière de justice\, d’autres nous rappellent ce qui a 
 été accompli. Ensemble\, ces causes offrent une occasion de réfléchir à no
 tre passé et d’examiner les développements continus de notre société.\n\nA
 u cœur de ces décisions se trouvent aussi les juges\, dont plusieurs ont a
 rpenté les couloirs de la faculté de droit à l’Université McGill\, comme d
 e nombreux étudiants aujourd’hui. Leurs décisions en matière d’égalité\, d
 ’accommodements religieux\, de droits autochtones\, de droits sur le genre
  et la sexualité et de droits de propriété ont joué un grand rôle dans l’é

 x juges qui ont façonné l’histoire de la Cour\, en mettant l’accent sur ce
