 y objective of this presentation is to raise awareness of discrimination a
 nd encourage the creation of an environment where all individuals are trea
 ted with dignity\,\n\nfairness\, and respect. This workshop provides intro
 ductory level content about the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms\, alo
 ng with an in-depth description of each of the 14 protected grounds\, the 
 scope of McGill's Policy on Harassment and Discrimination along with the l
 egal analysis used to determine whether discrimination has occurred. The p
 resentation also includes a brief explanation on how to report discriminat
 ion with McGill's Office for Mediation and Reporting.\n\nBy the end of the
  workshop participants will be able to:\n\n\n	Identify the 14 protected gro
 unds and what is included or excluded\n	Assess how McGill’s Policy on Haras
 sment and Discrimination applies and its limitations\n	Indicate the legal f
 actors considered when determining if discrimination has occurred\n	Locate 
 internal channels for reporting discrimination\n\n\nTo register:\n\n\n	Acce
