  students and postdocs with practical approaches to building a productive 
 relationship with their supervisor. Through a combination of discussion pr
 ompts and case studies\, students will be given the opportunity to explore
  strategies for communicating with their supervisor\, best practices for c
 larifying expectations\, and ways to incorporate work-life balance into bo
 th their supervisory relationship and their broader graduate school experi
