 y AVC-Aphasie Laval and McGill University\n\nAVC-Aphasie Laval is proud to
  announce a partnership with the Dementia Education Program of the Faculty
  of Medicine and Health Sciences at McGill University. This collaboration 
 aims to offer a series of free conferences on neurocognitive disorders.\n
 \nThese 45-minute lectures will be followed by a 15-minute question period
 . They are intended for both members of AVC-Aphasie Laval and the communit
 y. Offered in hybrid mode\, it will be possible to attend via Zoom or to r
 eserve a place on the organization's premises.\n\nPlease note that the con
 ferences will be presented in English in the morning and in French in the 
 afternoon.\n\nSupporting caregivers of people with neurocognitive disorder
 s \n	June 28\, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. (in English) and 1:30 p.m. (in French)\n
 \nMrs. Claire Webster will share practical advice on how to care for a per
 son living with dementia. She will discuss important considerations to ens
 ure the safety and well-being of both the individual as well as the care p
 artner to help families understand and access the resources needed to navi
 gate this disease.\n\nMrs. Claire Webster is a Certified Dementia Care Con
 sultant (PAC)\, Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)\, as wel
 l as a conference speaker and educator in the field of caring for an indiv
 idual with dementia. She is Founder and President of Caregiver Crosswalk I
 nc.\, a consulting firm that provides education and support services to he
 lp individuals navigate the journey of Alzheimer’s disease and/or dementia
 -related illnesses. Claire works in collaboration with McGill University’s
  Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Division of Geriatric Med
 icine. She is the Founder and Ambassador of the McGill Dementia Education 
 Program and McGill Cares\, a webcast series designed to support family car
 e partners. Claire is one of the McGill senior co-editors of the World Alz
 heimer Report 2021 - Journey through the diagnosis of dementia\, and the W
 orld Alzheimer Report 2022 - Post-diagnostic management and support: a pre
