 and Global Affairs Canada\, is proud to present a screening and discussion
  of the renowned docudrama film “Siberia din oase / Siberia in the Bones” 
 (Leontina Vatamanu\; 2019).\n\nThe movie is dedicated to the Moldovans dep
 orted to Siberia during the Stalin regime. It is structured around the tes
 timonies of four protagonists who lived their childhood during those dark 
 times. Together\, they emphasize the horrors endured by thousands of Moldo
 vans during the Stalin regime. The film commemorates 70 years since the 19
 49 deportations in Moldova (formerly known as Bessarabia). The film is bas

 u will be present at the screening to discuss the film. The movie is in Ro
 manian\, with English subtitles. Screening time 86 mins\, with discussion
