Join us for a workshop with Alex Kohn, Head of the Office of Copyright Compliance at McGill University Library. The talk will be roughly an hour, followed by an informal chat and refreshments.

Alex will be speaking about what the work of a copyright librarian in a research-intensive university entails. She will cover the nature of her role and responsibilities as well as the issues and challenges she encounters on a daily basis within the context of the changing landscape of copyright in Canada, higher education and academic libraries.

Bio

Alex Kohn is Head of the Office of Copyright Compliance at McGill University Library. She has previously worked as a librarian specializing in copyright, Open Access, scholarly communications and research support at the London School of Economics; University of the Arts London; and the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies, Lucca.
