 vately?\nWhat kinds of digital or cyber infrastructures are best suited fo
 r Humanities Research? How does the type of cyber infrastructure effect th
 e ways Humanities Research is conducted and managed\, as well as dissemina
 ted? The first session in this two-part workshop will describe the kinds o
 f websites and cyber-infrastructures currently in use in a variety of Huma
 nities Research contexts. It will outline how different types of websites 
 work – ranging from static html sites\, to fuller dynamic database and dat
 a-driven web applications and systems – and what kinds of sites are best s
 uited to particular Humanities Research objectives. The second session wil
 l focus on a needs assessment for Humanities Researchers by examining the 
 cyber-infrastructure provisions currently offered by McGill University\, p
 rivate Internet Service Providers\, as well as partners institutions. Atte
 ndees submitting Insight Development Grant proposals with Digital Infrastr
 ucture components are strongly encouraged to attend.\nDate & Time: January
