Synchro team looks for sixth straight crown at league championships

MONTREAL -- The McGill synchro club will be looking for their sixth consecutive league title this weekend when they compete at the Canadian University Synchro Swim League championship meet hosted by the University of Western Ontario in London, Ont, Feb. 5-7.

The team, which is composed of 27 swimmers and six volunteer coaches, will close out the season with their 59th annual McGill Synchro Watershow next Thursday (Feb. 11). The event begins at 8 pm at the Memorial pool, located inside the McGill Sports centre, 475 Pine Avenue W.

Admission is $5 for the general public and $3 for student with a valid ID card. This will be the last opportunity to see the synchro team perform their award-winning routines this season.
