Professor Peter McNally recognized for contributions to librarianship in Quebec


L’Association des Bibliothécaires du Québec / Quebec Library Association has announced that this year’s recipient of the Anne Galler Award is Professor Peter F. McNally of McGill University’s School of Information Studies.

Each year the Quebec Library Association presents an award to a librarian for outstanding library service.  This award recognizes an individual who has enriched librarianship in Quebec and has made a lasting contribution to the profession.

The award ceremony is to be held at ABQLA’s 78th annual conference on Saturday May 8th, 2010. For more information on the conference, see
