Principal’s message on the death of John Armour
Published: 20 June 2012
On behalf of the McGill community, I have extended our condolences to the family and friends of former Vice-Principal (Administration and Finance) John Armour, who died peacefully on Sunday, a little more than a week short of his 83rd birthday.
John, who worked at McGill from 1966 until his retirement in 1995, made significant contributions to our University during his distinguished career and I know he will be both missed and fondly remembered by his friends and former colleagues.
I know you join me in offering our deepest sympathies to John’s widow, Maureen, and all the members of his family.
