Otto Maass renovation schedule

The complexities posed by the asbestos abatement procedures made necessary by the renovations are anticipated to result in a delay in the Otto Maass KIP renovation project of 6 to 8 weeks.

The affected areas have been isolated. McGill has consulted with both the CSST and construction trade representatives to ensure safe handling of asbestos conditions. All abatement procedures are being carried out following strict protocols that are in accordance with industry and government standards.

Renovations are resuming in each affected sector upon completion of the asbestos abatement procedures.
