Ottawa Citizen - Vote compass has a point

The CBC's Vote Compass online survey of political issues is generating a lot of buzz.  "Vote Compass is first of all an educational tool," says Elisabeth Gidengil, a McGill University political scientist who helped design the survey.

She was part of the panel of Canadian academics who took what they believed to be the best available information on where the major parties stand on this limited number of national issues, coded it and plotted the data on a grid.
