Notice to U1 BSc(N) students who have not completed the two-step PPD screening for tuberculosis

Published: 17 September 2009

Subsequent to the advising session held on September 16, Health Services has notified us that almost 60 U1 BSc(N) students have not had the two-step PPD test for tuberculosis; some have had 'one step' but need the 'second step'.  As this test is required prior to entering clinical visits in the Therapeutic Relationships course and that so many students require testing, Health Services is offering testing clinics at the School of Nursing. Students who must have the 2 step testing must attend FOUR VISITS. The schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, September 23 from 10:00 am to 12:55 pm - Wilson Hall, Room 400,  (PPD planting)

Friday, September 25 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm - Wilson Hall, Room 400 (PPD reading only)

AND

Wednesday, September 30 from 10:00 to 11:30 am - Wilson Hall, Room 401 (PPD planting)

Friday, October 2 from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm - Wilson Hall, Room 400 (PPD reading only)
