New interlibrary loan (ILL) service points
Effective January 5, 2009 McGill students and faculty will pick up interlibrary loan materials at the Loans Desks of the branch libraries listed below.
To offer you more convenient pickups and returns with the Colombo Interlibrary Loan System, please choose your preferred McGill branch library as your "Pickup Location" when submitting your ILL requests on Colombo.
The branches included in this new approach are:
- Education Library and Curriculum Resources Centre
- Howard Ross Library of Management
- Humanities and Social Sciences Library
- Islamic Studies Library
- Macdonald Campus Library
- Marvin Duchow Music Library
- Nahum Gelber Law Library
- Schulich Library of Science and Engineering
The Interlibrary Loan service counter in McLennan m1-55c will be closed effective January 5, 2009.
If you have questions about your ILL transactions, please call the ILL staff directly at 514-398-4732 or send an email to colombo.library [at] mcgill.ca.
If you need training or help with placing an ILL request via Colombo, you may also obtain assistance at any branch library Information Desk or via Ask a librarian.
The Library's goal of enhancing the high quality of ILL service delivery will continue.
Please note that clients of the Life Sciences Library are not affected by this change.
