Maclean's Magazine: Top of their class—Passion and commitment define the winners of the 3M Teaching Awards

McGill Law's Kim Brooks has become one of 10 professors across the country to be selected for Canada's most prestigious university teaching awards, the 3M National Teaching Fellows. Her subject, tax law, might not sound exciting to everyone. But Associate Professor Brooks' passion for the subject is contagious - and her student evaluations are loaded with praise for her ability to engage her pupils fully in the subject matter.
