Get viral with the JGH family It’s good for you!

Published: 5 August 2010

For years, staff at the Jewish General Hospital have said that the pride they feel in working at the JGH makes them want to sing the hospital's praises. Well, now they've been given their chance.

Staff from throughout the hospital recently teamed up to create a three-minute music video that conveys the satisfaction they feel to be a part of the JGH. The upbeat and light-hearted clip-complete with an original score-encapsulates the staff's warmth and attentiveness to patients' needs.

Capping the hospital's 75th anniversary celebrations on a high note, the video reveals authentic sentiments of appreciation for the JGH, as well as the degree to which these dedicated employees have assumed ownership of their hospital. "Our patients speak over 70 different languages," said JGH Executive Director, Dr. Hartley Stern. "It's clear that at the JGH, 'Care for all' is not simply a motto. We're a hosptial for all Quebecers."

Equipped with cutting-edge resources, the JGH is internationally recognized for its state-of-the-art treatment options. The hospital's greatest strength, however, lies in the care and compassion that the JGH family extends to all patients, and their families.

For as the song goes:

C'était un rêve / Celui de donner à tous les meilleurs soins / 'Cause no matter what your faith, /
Or the colour of your skin, / At the Jewish General, / You're always welcomed in!"

Thanks to HSBC for making this video possible.
