Coaching and charity front-and-centre for former Desautels student

As Kevin Donovan enters his second year as head coach of a high-school lacrosse programme, he talks about his first game with the team, improving the squad’s place in the standings, and how accountability helps student athletes develop into adulthood.

While studying at Desautels, Mr. Donovan served as Offensive Coordinator for McGill’s lacrosse programme, but he has also made his mark in the non-profits. From the summer of 2014 to last December, Mr. Donovan worked as the Business & Community Engagement Manager for the men’s health charity, Movember, and he now coaches at a lacrosse organization that develops skills in boys and girls.
