Canadian University Report gives McGill Library "A" grade and first place

Published: 29 October 2008

The McGill Library earned an "A" grade from the Globe and Mail's annual Canadian University Report. It was the top grade awarded to a large university (those with enrolment of more than 22,000).

This comes in a year when the Library opened its Cyberthèque and refurbished the Schulich Library of Science and Engineering, the Education Library and Curriculum Resources Centre, and the Howard Ross Library of Management, building on its commitment to high quality client-centred information products, services and programs, and complementing its vast collection and expert and friendly staff.

The grade for each university included in the report is based on the responses of students who attend that school. The 2009 survey's results in the top categories can be seen on the Globe Campus website.
