BCL/LLB student Flora Lê wins NACLE student paper competition

Published: 6 October 2008

Flora Lê won the opportunity to present a paper at the annual North American Consortium on Legal Education’s (NACLE) conference. Her work, “L’adaptation de l’industrie agricole nord-américaine aux changements climatiques : vers une nouvelle gouvernance”, was written under the direction of Professor Richard Janda.

The NACLE is composed of 13 participating law schools in Canada, Mexico and the United States. The consortium gives law students the opportunity to participate in in semester-long exchanges at our member universities.

Additionally, NACLE holds an annual student paper competition, whose topics concern comparative North American law or NAFTA. Winning students receive an invitation to attend the annual conference, all expenses paid. Students then present their papers for faculty and student criticism. This year’s NACLE conference was held in Ottawa from October 2 to October 5, 2008.

Kudos to Flora!
