Appointments

I am pleased to announce that upon my recommendations the Board of Governors has approved the reappointment of Prof. Anthony C. Masi as Provost for a second five-year term and of Prof. Daniel Jutras as Dean of the Faculty of Law for an initial six year term, commencing 1 March 2010.

In addition, I am delighted to announce that the following Deans have been reappointed for a second mandate: Prof. Martin Grant (Faculty of Science), Prof. Chandra A. Madramootoo (Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences) and Prof. Christophe Pierre (Faculty of Engineering) each for a five year term; and Prof. Peter Todd (Desautels Faculty of Management) for a six year term. All renewals will begin on 1 July 2010.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of the members of the Advisory Committees for their important contributions and advice during the process.
