DESCRIPTION:Dinosaurs have undergone a remarkable renaissance in recent\nde
cades. Far from being sluggish reptilian monsters doomed to\nextinction\,
new discoveries and new methods of scientific\ninvestigation have revealed
dinosaurs as complex\, highly active\nanimals and one of the most diverse
and successful groups of land\ncreatures in the history of life on Earth.
\nProfessor's Reisz's research team has studied the anatomy and\nlife hist
ory of Massospondylus\, a dinosaur that lived some 200\nmillion years ago.
Although not as visually striking as certain\nother dinosaurs\, Massospon
dylus is unique among all dinosaurs in\nbeing known from many excellently
preserved skulls and skeletons.\nThese remains\, along with the remarkable
discovery of nests of this\ndinosaur  have allowed his team to reconstruc
t the life and\ntimes of this dinosaur in minute detail from an embryo all
  the way\nto a full adult\, a feat unmatched in previous dinosaur\nresearc
 h.\n
