Looking to pursue a career in finance? Attend our free info session to learn what the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential is and how it can help your career. In this session, PhD candidate, CFA, and McGill instructor, Jason Moschella, will demystify the CFA exam, offer strategies and tips for preparing for and successfully passing the exam and answer your questions!

- What is CFA designation and how can it help you jump start your career?

- Advantages of CFA compared to MBA, Masters and CPA.

- Exam formats and lengths

- What it takes to pass the exam and become a CFA

- Tips, tricks and strategy to successfully prepare for the exam

Then, for those interested, Jason will explore the upcoming Level I CFA®️Exam préparation course and how it can help you best prep for the exam and boost your chances of earning the CFA designation.


 

About Jason Moschella

Jason Moschella is a PhD candidate in Accounting at the Desautels Faculty of Management and is the lead instructor for the CFA Exam Preparation Program at McGill's School of Continuing Studies. He is fully invested in the pursuit of lifelong learning and loves to help his students grow and succeed. Outside of the classroom, Jason is passionate about research and enjoys collaborating with his colleagues to further our understanding of the business world. He is currently conducting research on how to identify profitable insider trades, how risk management in small business happens, and whether or not auditors price their services to include a reputational risk premium for higher-risk clients. Jason is also actively engaged in student life and currently manages the finances of the Desautels Doctoral Students' Society.
