Carol Devine is a humanitarian and AIDS activist. She works on gender-based violence and access to medicines for Dignitas, a medical humanitarian organization based in Malawi. She recently facilitated an innovative meeting in Uganda for the Stephen Lewis Foundation with frontline community organizations from across Africa supporting people living with HIV/AIDS, particularly women and children.  Formerly she was Director of Programs for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Canada and worked in Rwanda, Southern Sudan and East Timor.  With the Diplomacy Training Program, Faculty of Law, University of New South Wales, Carol co-led skill-building workshops for human rights advocates in the Asia-Pacific. She graduated from McGill University in 1989.
