Valentine's Day Freaky Friday: Science of Love Competition

Redpath Museum Auditorium, 859 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C4, CA
FREE, Everyone welcome.

Ever wondered what quantum physics and love have in common?  Or how the first sparks of love are created by a combination of three neurochemicals?

This Freaky Friday invites McGill undergraduate Science students to submit a proposal to give a winning 4 minute, 4 slide- only presentation on the quirks and quarks of love. You need to present the scientific evidence and show that you can communicate the divine complexity of love to a general audience. Initial proposal (one page maximum) due Jan. 31, 2014. Send to science.outreach [at]

A short list of 6 presenters will be chosen to compete for the McLovin’ Science Prize on Feb. 14, 5 pm, at the Redpath Museum.
