TB: Dying for a test - one-day symposium on TB field diagnostics

This symposium will promote progress in appropriate TB, MDR-TB & XDR-TB diagnostics for resource-poor settings, focusing on: (1) challenges in TB diagnostics; (2) best available tests that are still underused; (3) emerging technologies; (4) how to increase diagnostics development and roll-out. The symposium will precede the meeting of the IUATLD (International Union Against TB and Lung Disease).
