The Paul-André Crépeau Centre for Private and Comparative Law is happy to officially invite you, in collaboration with the Chaire du notariat de l’Université de Montréal, to a panel entitled “Perspectives sur le droit de la famille contemporain” that will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017, from 4:00 to 5:30 PM in room 312 of New Chancellor Day Hall.

It will be the occasion to discuss our Family Law, its situation and evolution, in an appropriate context considering the recent report of the Comité consultatif sur le droit de la famille.

The panel will be followed by the launch of two new publications: Dictionnaire de droit privé et lexiques bilingues – Les familles / Private Law Dictionary and Bilingual Lexicons – Family and Robert Leckey (dir.), Marital Rights (Routledge, 2017). The launch will begin at 5:30 PM, and will be held in room 16 of Old Chancellor Day Hall.

An application for accreditation of the conference as part of the Barreau du Québec’s and the Chambre des notaires du Québec’s mandatory continuing legal education requirements has been submitted.
