This session will introduce participants to a variety of strategies designed to move graduate students through the early stages of writing and on to the more advanced stages of editing and revising.

Goals of the session

  • To share insights, experiences, challenges, practices concerning the supervision of graduate student writing
  • To re-see graduate student writing and its supervision based on current research examining graduate student writing development
  • To explore and develop new research-based approaches to the supervision of graduate student writing
