A talk by Milton Viorst. Milton Viorst has degrees in history (BA, Rutgers) and journalism (MS, Columbia), and was a Fulbright Scholar at the U. of Lyon in 1951-52. He is the author of a dozen books on the Middle East, including his latest, Storm from the East: The Struggle Between the Arab World and the Christian West (Random House, 2006). His essays have appeared for many years in the New Yorker, the NY Times Magazine, Harper's and the International Herald Tribune. He has taught at Princeton and in 2005 was named a Chevalier of the Légion d'Honneur.
