SSHRC Revised Program Architecture – Updates and Q & A

The Office of Sponsored Research is pleased to invite McGill faculty to an information session on the proposed changes to SSHRC programs.

The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada is proposing changes to all of their existing programs as of this Fall.   These reconfiguration of existing programs will impact all SSHRC programming, except for this fall’s Standard Research Grants deadline.

McGill researchers, both new and established, who are planning to apply to SSHRC in the next year are  encouraged to attend a  workshop organized by the Office of Sponsored Research. The session will include  a presentation of the proposed new programming, and offer an opportunity to ask questions.  The presentation will be given by Rupa Narasimhadevara, Office of Sponsored Research.

A repeat session will be offered on Tuesday, August 17th at 10 a.m. for researchers who are unable to attend the July session. Additional details to follow.
