An engaging lecture by Canada's first Chief Public Health Officer, Dr. David Butler-Jones, who will discuss and take questions regarding emerging trends in infectious disease and its environmental determinants, as well as Canada's role in global public health. Dr. Butler-Jones heads the Public Health Agency of Canada, which provides leadership on the government's efforts to protect and promote the health and safety of Canadians.
