San Francisco Walking Tour: Presidio and the 1906 Earthquake

The new tour we have scheduled is called Presidio and the 1906 Earthquake. Walk through the Presidio, learn about the role of the Army in this extraordinary time, and about the struggle of the more than 200,000 San Franciscans suddenly left homeless to return to a normal life.

There will be an opportunity for friendly socializing following the tour at Liverpool Lil's, just outside the Presidio gates, at 2942 Lyon Street at Lombard (website).

There are no hills on the walk. Transit connections are excellent from all parts of the Bay area. For more information, please go to website.
