Public lecture - Hip hop versus HIV

Les Productions Elephriends and the Faculty of Education invite you to a multimedia presentation on recent work done by "H vs. H" in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Venezuela. Using hip hop as a way to reach and gain the participation of youth in HIV/AIDS prevention and education, H vs. H battles social stigmas and ignorance. Lecturer Rodrigo Ardiles will explore and assess Venezuelan community-based workshops attended by over 500 people. Cuban rappers "Obsesion" will share details of their own hip hop-driven work for social justice and education in Latin America. Also: the next chapter of the project, based in Chile.
