Public evening lecture – Naturally Curious

In the context of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Gault Nature Reserve of McGill University at Mont St. Hilaire, a series of four evening lectures allow you to meet passionate professors and researchers working in the region. These researchers in biology, ecology or geology will reveal some secrets about our local environment.

The second of these lectures will be held Thursday October 23rd at 7:30pm at Gault House. Pierre J.H. Richard, researcher and professor at the Université de Montréal, will present “13 000 years of Mont St. Hilaire history as revealed by the lac Hertel archives and a bog”. He will highlight the fascinating climate and vegetation history of Mont St. Hilaire since the last glaciation.
