Poincare inequalities and fixed points

Geometric Group Theory Seminar: L. Silberman, IAS. Combining several existing results in metric geometry we show that the wild group constructed by Gromov has a strong fixed point property for isometric actions, generalizing the proof that the group has Kazhdan property (T).
