Mount Royal Cemetery Historical Visit #3: The Impact of the Great War on Montrealers

Wednesday, August 26, 2015 10:00

Event coordinator: Denise Lord, cjblord [at] hotmail.com

This activity, guided by a trained volunteer, is the third in the series. The focus is on WW1 heroes who are buried in the 165-acre Mount Royal Cemetery. While most participants will be happy to walk, it is possible to drive from place to place. Donations can be made to the Friends of the Mount Royal Cemetery.
Meet event coordinator Denise Lord at 9:45 a.m. at the gate at 1297 chemin de la Forêt in Outremont. Dress appropriately for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, bring water and possibly a picnic. Plan to invite friends since a minimum number of participants is required.
