The McGill Mini-HealthSciences series has been especially planned for University, CEGEP and High School students who are considering careers in health care.

October 30 Topic: Global Health: Past and Future Directions

Lecturer: Dr. Dan Deckelbaum

Injury and surgical disease contribute as many annual deaths as malaria, tuberculosis and HIV combined.  This lecture will discuss some of the key principles of global health and the initiatives that the Centre for Global Surgery at the McGill University Health Centre are implementing to tackle this problem.
