Dr. Peter Jones, University of Ottawa. Before joining U. of O., Dr. Jones was a senior analyst, Security and Intelligence Secretariat, Privy Council of Canada. He held various positions related to international affairs and security at the Dept of Foreign Affairs, the Privy Council Office and the Dept of Defence. He also led the Middle East Security and Arms Control Project at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) in the 1990s. Currently, he is a fellow at several research institutions, including the Center for Trans-Atlantic Relations, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University, and at the Regional Centre for Conflict Prevention, Jordan Institute for Diplomacy, Amman, Jordan.
