McGill University Health Centre: Trauma Presentation

Many people think injuries are the result of accidents and that they cannot be avoided. However, research shows that 90% of unintentional injuries can be prevented.

On Saturday, February 21, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Dr. Tarek Razek, Director of Trauma Care, will give a presentation about the lessons learned from the thousands of trauma patients that receive care at the MUHC every year – many with life-threatening or life-changing injuries. He will also talk about the prevention programs the hospital is spearheading to help prevent injuries and will offer tips on how people can make their everyday lives safer.
