Cheer the McGill Martlets to another national title!

The McGill Alumni Association invites you to a special reception celebrating the Martlets hockey team’s incredible undefeated season and their upcoming run at another CIS championship in Antigonish.

Join fellow alumni, family and friends as we greet our players and coaching staff over conversation, snacks and drinks. And don’t forget to wear your red and white gear, because we want to show them that the McGill spirit is strong in the Maritimes!

This season the McGill Martlets became the first Quebec team to post back-to-back perfect seasons. With a record of 18-0 in 2009, they have extended their win streak to 47 consecutive contests against Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) opponents. They are also entering the CIS Women’s Hockey Championship as the reigning champions.

The 2009 CIS tournament, hosted by St. Francis Xavier University, gets under way on Thursday, March 19, and concludes with the gold medal game on the evening of Sunday, March 22. For tickets to any of the games, please call the Charles V. Keating Centre box office at 1-866-259-8169.
