McGill now has a university-wide license for the MATLAB scientific computing software, available at no charge for all McGill staff and McGill-owned computers. Learn to use MATLAB in your research and teaching by taking this 2-day workshop offered by the MathWorks through the Bioresource Engineering Department. Contact Grant Clark today to confirm your place in the workshop. Graduate students and teaching assistants should book through their supervisor or course coordinator. Limited places are available to McGill participants from outside the Bioresource Engineering Department on an at-cost, first-come-first-served basis. MATLAB Fundamentals and Programming Techniques Thursday, August 14, 2008 – Friday, August 15, 2008 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Rooms MS 2-026, Macdonald Steward Building, Macdonald Campus, McGill University This two-day course provides a working introduction to the MATLAB technical computing environment. It is intended for beginning and intermediate users, though even experienced users will benefit from seeing MATLAB used by professional MathWorks trainers. No prior knowledge of MATLAB is required. Themes of data analysis, visualization, modeling, and programming are explored throughout the course.
