Managing in Latin America: Practical and cultural considerations

In this presentation, Dr. Mu will share his experience managing multimillion-dollar projects internationally. He will explain the key cultural differences to keep in mind when working in a global environment and how to handle them. Although his discussion is valid for all international settings, he will draw examples with an emphasis in the Latin American region. Dr. Mu has worked and lived in different countries in Latin America while holding top executive positions during his professional life. He is currently chair of the IT management program at Carlow University and is co-director of the summer training program for Latin American executives from the University of Pittsburgh.
