Lance Armstrong rides into town for Cedars Cancer Institute of the MUHC
Cancer survivor and cycling champion, Lance Armstrong will be in the Montreal region the weekend of September 12th and 13th in support of the Cedars Cancer Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and Best Care for Life Campaign. Funds raised at two exciting events will benefit comprehensive cancer care in adult, adolescent, young adult and pediatric oncology at the MUHC.
For one day only, September 12, 2008, Lance Armstrong will take to the road in Mont-Tremblant with an exclusive group of riders from within our community, raising funds for the fight against cancer.
This very special event is in support of the Cedars Cancer Institute and the Cancer Care Mission of the McGill University Health Centre. Cedars Cancer Institute: the only fully comprehensive cancer centre in Quebec offering tertiary and quaternary care to cancer patients of all ages, from childhood through adult life.
