The event is free but registration is required.

A request has been made for the accreditation of this training activity by the Barreau du Québec as Mandatory Continuing Legal Education for 1.5 hours.

About the speaker

Building on his experience as a partner at Fraser Milner Casgrain, Me Martin's recent appointment to the Appeal Board of the European Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) marks a crowning achievement in an already illustrious career.

Throughout his career, Me Martin’s has distinguished himself as a leader practitioner in the fields of intellectual property and arbitration law. His numerous trial appearances, most notably before the Supreme Court in Desputeaux (1987) and Dell (2007), are emblematic of his expertise. He is also a renowned scholar who regularly teaches at the Law faculties of McGill, UdM, UQÀM and Laval. Moreover, his numerous academic publications have made an invaluable contribution to legal doctrine.
