Karen Fricker is a lecturer in contemporary theatre at Royal Holloway, University of London, and a theatre critic. She is currently writing a volume for Manchester University Press entitled "Making Theatre Global: The Creation, Circulation, and Reception of Robert Lepage’s Original Stage Works," which draws on 20 years’ engagement with Lepage’s work.
