This year's lecture will delivered by Alain Prujiner, Full Professor, Faculty of Law, Université Laval, on the subject of arbitration.

The John E.C. Brierley Memorial Lecture commemorates the life and work of John E.C. Brierley, who was Professor and Dean of Law at McGill. He was a prominent figure in the discipline of comparative law internationally and the leading Canadian expert on arbitration.

The John E.C. Brierley Memorial Lecture is presented by McGill and its Research Team on Private Justice and the Rule of Law, with the participation of the Canadian Bar Association (Québec branch).

The event  will be followed by a cocktail sponsored by Woods LLP.

This activity is certified for 1.5 hours of continuing legal education to members of the Quebec Bar, as per its mandatory professional training requirements. Barreau activity no. 10040676.
