Are you a McGill student interested in getting to know the Montréal food movement? Are you passionate about creating a just, nutritious, safe, and healthy food system in Montréal?

This Thursday, come to a workshop at Midnight Kitchen on how to make jam and to learn about a new initiative, JAM (Justice Alimentaire pour Montréal), that tries to connect people working on food justice. At the workshop, we'll be preserving summer's bounty (more specifically, perfectly good fruit that was going to be thrown away) by making some jam, and we'll discuss what the JAM is working on and how to get involved.

At the workshop, we'll be preserving summer's bounty (more specifically, perfectly good fruit that was going to be thrown away) by making some jam, and we'll discuss what the JAM is working on and how to get involved. JAM connects people and organizations in Montreal who want to change our unjust food system. We focus on exchanging information and resources, organizing meetings and events, providing support to organizations that need it, and encouraging new projects, actions, and applied university research.
